Currently, Robin is a practicing artist working with photography, video, and installation. Robin is also an Associate Professor of Art in the Leigh Gerdine College of Fine Arts at Webster University in St. Louis, MO, where she teaches all levels of photography. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Connecticut and her Master of Fine Arts from the Ohio State University. Robin’s art has been exhibited in various solo and group shows throughout the United States.
In addition to her own work, Robin has been collaborating with fellow visual artist, Sarah Nitschke, for the past seven years on a video, photographic, and installation project called “The Acts of Hope and Futility.” Acts of Hope and Futility is a long-term, multi-part, multi-disciplinary series of artworks that include performance, photography, video, and installation, and draws from mundane, but meaningful experiences of everyday life. Their new exhibition, Dismantling Evil, opens Jan. 21, 2011 at the Good Citizen Gallery in St. Louis, MO.
